Bridges

What is a bridge?

Bridge 1

Bridges fill the gaps in your smile and your bite, improving your ability to chew and enjoy your favourite foods! A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth, thereby "bridging" the space between two teeth. Bridges make chewing easier, improve appearance, and keep your teeth, gums and jaw healthy. Bridges are a permanent replacement of missing teeth and consist of one or more replacement teeth attached to the adjacent natural teeth. The replacement teeth are attached to crowns that fit over your natural teeth on either side of the space to be filled, therefore, forming a single unit. They are made of porcelain, Zirconia, various metals or a combination thereof. They greatly improve biting and chewing functions, as well as appearance in some cases.

Bridges can also help to improve the overall appearance of your smile.
