Preventive Dentistry
What is preventive dentistry?

Preventive dentistry includes any and all treatments or actions taken to prevent disease or breakdown in the mouth or oral cavity. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Flossing & brushing
- Fluoride treatments
- Nightguards or splints
- Crowns & bridges
- Regular visits to your dental hygienist
- Pit & fissure sealants
- etc...
As it stands, almost anything done to prevent damage, or prevent more damage, and maintain optimum oral health might be considered preventive dentistry.
At Dentistry at Vitality Health, our philosophy and our practice is focused on prevention. An underlying principle is that all of our treatment plans are designed to restore you to optimal oral health and prevent any further damage to your teeth and supporting structures.
