Computer-Guided Implants

At the Forefront of Implant Dentistry

Dr. Raj Singh has been honing his skills as a general dentist since 1985 and has been performing both the surgical and restorative phases of implant dentistry for over 16 years. Dr. Singh and the Dentistry at Vitality Health team have been trained to provide the 'Teeth-in-an-Hour' system. This is a computer-guided implant placement system that allows the replacement of one or more teeth with the necessary implants, including the final restorations, in a single appointment.

Respected for his work with implants, Dr. Singh was chosen to perform a live surgery demonstrating the revolutionary new NOBELGUIDE™ System in front of 55-60 members of the dental profession.

Dental implants are "artificial tooth roots" upon which implant-supported restorations (removable or permanently fixed) are placed. The implant (artificial root) becomes the foundation on which your restoration will be built. Advances in implant design, techniques and technology make it possible for most people to be suitable candidates for implants. Another advantage to having implants (especially if placed "immediately"), is that they integrate with bone, thereby minimizing or preventing bone loss.

The development and advancement of implant dentistry has certainly been the most revolutionary change in dentistry in more than 30 years. They help us offer you many alternatives for replacing teeth that previously would not have been possible!

NOBELGUIDE™ Computer-Guided Implants

Today, guided surgical techniques are convenient alternatives to placing dental implants which allow you to have dental implants placed in a single session using "keyhole surgery". This new method has significantly simplified the procedure. The major advantage of the guided surgical technique is the minimal amount of manipulation of the soft tissue due to keyhole surgery. This, in turn, significantly reduces the healing time as compared to traditional dental implant surgical techniques.

The procedure chosen depends on several factors, such as your dental health, the number of teeth involved and which teeth are being replaced and the general health of the recipient site. These factors will also determine the total number of visits needed to complete your treatment.
