Immediate Implants

Here, at Dentistry at Vitality Health, most of the implants that we place are capable of being "immediately loaded". This means that at the time of placing the implant, there is enough stability to allow us to immediately construct the final restoration (crown, bridge or denture). Therefore, within two to three weeks of placing the implant, the final restoration can be inserted. This is a highly successful, timely, convenient, more efficient and way to place dental implants..

Immediate Implants

"Immediate implants" are implants that are placed "immediately" into the socket of a tooth that has just been removed or "extracted".  The implant is placed right into the extraction site at the same appointment. If there is enough stability, the final restoration (crown, bridge or denture) can be fabricated and "immediately loaded". This would then be considered an "immediately-loaded immediate-implant".

The procedure deemed suitable for you depends on several factors, such as your dental health, the number of teeth involved, which teeth are being replaced and the general health of the recipient site. These factors will also determine the total number of visits needed to complete your treatment.
