Our Technologies
At Dentistry at Vitality Health, we utilize proven technologies to help you to efficiently achieve your optimal treatment goals while making your experience safe, comfortable and quite possibly entertaining. For example:
- Our digital x-ray system exposes you to less radiation than conventional x-rays!
- Our intra-oral cameras allow you to clearly see details of your mouth and treatment on large HD monitors, so you are always informed and involved in treatment choices!
- Our virtual reality glasses allow you to watch entertaining programs of your choice to "take you away" while we work!
Here are just some of the technologies routinely used at Dentistry at Vitality Health to help ensure that you receive the highest standards of care:
Digital X-Rays (Intra-Oral, Panoramic & Cephalometric Radiography)

Science tells us that digitial radiographs (or x-rays) reduce a patient’s exposure to radiation as compared to conventional radiographic systems. A panoramic x-ray allows the dentist to see the entire jaw, including the sinuses, for a more comprehensive assessment; while a cephalometric x-ray gives us a full view of the entire cranium on profile for such applications as orthodontics or dental implants.
Intra-Oral Cameras
Each treatment room is equipped with an intra-oral camera that is connected to a large HD monitor so you can clearly appreciate what we see.
Virtual Reality Glasses
Each treatment room is equipped with virtual reality glasses for your private entertainment and enjoyment during treatment. Relax and watch any TV program or movie while we work!
K7 Evaluation System and TENS
These are neuromuscular devices that are used to respectively assess the position of your jaws and to relax the muscles of your face and jaws through the delivery of gentle electronic pulses. The pulsation and massage of the muscles increases blood flow, helps ease any discomfort and relaxes the muscles in your face and jaw, enabling your dentist to determine your most natural biting position. These are most commonly used for complete bite reconstructions and relief of symptoms of over-closed bites.
VELscope & Cancer Screening

The VELscope system helps dental professionals visualize abnormalities in the mucosal tissues of your lips, mouth and upper throat. In just two minutes, with no rinses, stains or discomfort, a VELscope screening will help determine if a patient will require further tests, such as a biopsy, to make an accurate diagnosis of any identified abnormality in the tissues. The VELscope’s blue light “excites” molecules (called “fluorophores”) deep within the layers of each mucosal tissue. In turn, those fluorophores emit their own light (fluorescence), in shades of green, yellow and red. The VELscope’s proprietary filter makes fluorescence visualization possible by blocking reflected blue light, and by enhancing the contrast between normal and abnormal tissue.
CEREC - Technology for Single-Appointment Porcelain Restorations

This CAD-CAM design & “milling” machine allows us to custom design and manufacture white porcelain fillings for you, on-the-spot, in about 40 minutes! With CEREC AC, we can make inlays, onlays and crowns in one appointment. There’s no need to wait a week or more for a lab to fabricate the necessary restoration. You now have more treatment options, and you can replace your old mercury, metal or plastic fillings with new white porcelain, non-metal, non-mercury fillings. In 1996, Dr. Raj Singh introduced this technology to his practice and to his many satisfied patients. He subsequently trained a number of other dentists and dental professionals on its use.
Lasers
Soft Tissue lasers can be used to easily re-contour or sculpt tissue so that many minor surgeries can be completed easily, quickly, and relatively painlessly.
