Dr. Raj Singh graduated from the University of Toronto – Faculty of Dentistry in 1985. He founded Dentistry at Vitality Health in 1985.
An Acknowledged Leader in Dentistry
Dr. Singh has been featured on CTV, TVO, and Rogers Cable’s Weekly Program “Your Health Matters”. Additional media appearances include, The Toronto Star, the Toronto Sun, Oral Health Magazine, the Buffalo Standard, Dentistry Today, McKenzie Management, the University of British Columbia and Halifax University. Dr. Singh has been a featured lecturer at the University of Western Ontario on “The Future of Computers in Dentistry and Health Care”, as well as a featured speaker at the symposium of the Canadian Academy of Computerized Dentistry in Montreal. Dr. Singh was one of the first to implement CEREC technology in North America, as an honour to his expertise Dr. Singh was appointed to demonstrate the technology to many Canadian dentists. Nobel Biocare also selected Dr. Singh to perform live immediate dental implant surgeries in their head office for other dentists to observe.
An Early Adopter of Innovation
Dr. Singh’s practice offers a variety of dental services, with a specialization in the disciplines of implantology, cosmetic dentistry and neuromuscular dentistry. He is dedicated to the continuous improvement in his practice through adopting new technologies and acquiring new skills and methodologies.
Dr. Singh was one of the first dentists in Canada to be trained to place implants. Dr. Singh completed his implant training in 1995 under the guidance of Dr. George Zarb. Dr. Zarb traveled to Sweden to work alongside Dr. Per-Ingvar Branemark, the Father of Dental Implants. Dr. Branemark develoed dental implant technology and successfully placed the first ever dental implant. Dr Zarb was responsible for bringing dental implant technology to North America.
Dr. Singh received advanced cosmetic training at LVI Global. LVI Global is an international institution dedicated to the progress of the dental profession through the integration of comprehensive diagnosis, contemporary techniques and technology.
He also received training in neuromuscular dentistry; this is most often used to improve a person’s bite and to alleviate the symptoms of TMJ disorders.
