Digital Design & Surgical Blueprint
High-resolution 3D CBCT imaging captures your entire jaw anatomy—bone density, nerve pathways, sinus position, and tissue thickness—creating a complete digital model of your mouth.
Our CAD team uses this model to design precise implant positions, angling each one for maximum bone contact and long-term stability. Every placement is mapped to the millimeter.
A custom surgical guide is 3D-printed from your plan, ensuring the surgeon follows the exact positions during the procedure with no guesswork involved.
Provisional teeth are digitally designed to match your natural tooth shade, shape, and bite alignment. You'll review high-resolution mockups and approve your new smile before surgery day.
This planning phase typically takes 1–2 weeks and is one of the most important steps in ensuring a predictable, successful outcome.
Implants Placed Under Full Sedation
On the morning of your procedure, one of our dental anaesthetists—our board-certified dental anesthesiologist—administers IV sedation so you're completely comfortable and unaware throughout surgery.
Dr. Singh gently removes any remaining teeth and places 4–6 implants into optimal positions using the pre-fabricated surgical guide. Each implant is torqued to a precise level that allows immediate loading.
Bone is preserved and grafted strategically where needed, reinforcing areas of lower density to ensure each implant achieves the stability required for same-day teeth.
The entire surgical phase takes approximately 2–3 hours. You remain asleep and pain-free the entire time, with continuous monitoring by the anesthesia team.
Once implants are secured and the surgical site is closed, the team immediately transitions to the restorative phase—there's no waiting period before your new teeth are attached.
Provisional Teeth Fabricated In-House
While you recover from surgery, our in-house dental lab technicians begin fabricating your provisional teeth using the digital design created during the planning phase.
Teeth are milled from high-quality, tooth-colored acrylic resin and individually tinted to match your desired shade. Each tooth is shaped and positioned to create a natural, esthetic result.
Our lab team works directly alongside the surgical team, making real-time adjustments based on the actual implant positions achieved during surgery. This level of coordination is only possible with an on-site lab.
Rigorous quality control checks ensure proper fit, comfortable bite alignment, and visual harmony before the provisional is brought to you for final placement.
Because everything happens under one roof, there are no delays from external labs—your provisional teeth are ready within hours of your surgery, not weeks.
Provisional Teeth Secured to Implants
Once you're alert and comfortable post-surgery, your provisional teeth are carefully secured to the implants using precision abutment connections. The fit is evaluated thoroughly.
We verify bite alignment, comfort, and esthetics with you in the chair. Small adjustments are made immediately—trimming contacts, refining the bite, and polishing surfaces for a natural feel.
You'll practice eating soft foods under our guidance and receive detailed post-operative care instructions, including dietary guidelines for the first few weeks of healing.
Before you leave, we schedule your follow-up appointments and provide emergency contact information. Our team is available around the clock if you have questions during recovery.
You walk out of our Markham office wearing teeth that look, feel, and function beautifully—a complete transformation accomplished in a single day.
Healing Phase — Bone Fuses to Implants
Over the next 4–6 months, your jawbone gradually fuses with the titanium implant surfaces through a biological process called osseointegration. This is what makes dental implants permanent.
During this period, you wear your provisional teeth normally—eating, speaking, and smiling with confidence. Most patients return to regular activities within a few days of surgery.
We schedule structured follow-up visits at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months to monitor healing progress, check implant stability, and make any necessary adjustments to your provisional teeth.
Dietary restrictions are minimal after the first 2–3 weeks. You'll gradually reintroduce firmer foods as your comfort level increases and bone healing progresses.
By the end of this phase, each implant is anchored as solidly as a natural tooth root—creating the rock-solid foundation needed for your permanent porcelain restoration.
Custom Porcelain Teeth Placed
After 4–6 months, your bone is fully healed and implants are rock-solid. Your provisional teeth are removed, and we take a final set of digital impressions for your permanent restoration.
Our in-house lab uses all your anatomical data—bite records, tissue contours, implant angles—to custom-mill your permanent teeth from medical-grade zirconia or layered porcelain.
Each tooth is individually shaped, shaded, and glazed to replicate the translucency and texture of natural enamel. The result is indistinguishable from real teeth.
Your permanent prosthetic is secured to the implants with precision-machined titanium connections. We verify the fit, bite, and esthetics one final time before you leave.
This is the restoration you'll wear for decades. With regular maintenance visits and proper home care, your teeth-in-a-day results are designed to last a lifetime.
